
PULWAMA — Over hundred people offered funeral prayers in absentia for Asif Dar, the militant reportedly killed in Lower Munda encounter on Monday morning.
Reports said that at least 3 militants were killed in Lower Munda Kulgam encounter. Among them, one is a top militant commander Asif Majid Dar.
Sources said that over 100 people offered funeral prayers in absentia for the slain militant Asif Dar at his native village Dangar Mohalla Kakapora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The funeral prayers were offered after the culmination of Zuhar prayers.
Sources added that a minor stone-pelting incident also occurred in Kakapora. Group of youth pelted stones on police; however, there was no retaliation from the police.
