Gang War? Srinagar bodybuilder shot dead in Nawakadal

SRINAGAR — Unknown gunmen fired upon a youth in Nawakadal area of Srinagar this afternoon.

Reports said that the gunmen fired couple of bullets, leaving the youth critically injured. He was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

He has been identified as Mehran Ali, a body-builder and a social media influencer.

The area has been cordoned off and a search operation was launched there.

It is a ‘Gang War’, as per J-K Police

A senior police officer said that the firing was act of “gang war”.

The police officer said that it was a “gang war” which broke out between two “groups”. During the fight, Mehran was “fired upon and killed”, he said. (Inputs from KNT, GNS)
