Government forms panel for land acquisition in Dal Lake

SRINAGAR — The government on Tuesday constituted a committee for monitoring of land acquisition and rehabilitation work in Dal Lake.

With Divisional Commissioner Kashmir as chairman, the members include Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Commissioner SMC, Director Tourism, Vice Chairman Lakes and Waterways Development Authority, Chief Engineer PWD Kashmir and Chief engineer UEED.

“It is further ordered that Principal Secretary to the Government, Revenue Department shall be the ‘Chief Nodal Officer’ and Revenue Department shall be the Nodal Department for rehabilitation work,” reads a government order.
