Govt orders establishment of Winter Secretariat in Srinagar

SRINAGAR — Government of J&K on Wednesday ordered the establishment of Winter Secretariat at Srinagar.

An order signed by Additional Secretary to the Government, Rohit Sharma, KAS reads, “Sanction is hereby accorded to establishment of Winter Secretariat at Srinagar with effect from 01.11.2020”.

“Consequent upon, the administrative secretaries shall remain available at the Winter Secretariat, Srinagar, as per the roster, at Annexure A to this order,” order reads.

It further reads, “The officers at Annexure B to this order are hereby posted in the Winter Secretariat Srinagar. They shall continue to draw their salaries from the respective departments where from they have been posted in the Winter Secretariat.”

Further, the Estates Department shall make suitable arrangements in the Civil Secretariat including heating arrangements, telephones/internet etc for smooth functioning of the Winter Secretariat Srinagar, the order reads.
