
SRINAGAR — Unknown gunmen today morning looted cash worth Rs. 60 lac from J&K Bank van at main town in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Officials said that around 60 lakhs were looted from a J&K Bank van when unknown gunmen attacked it near Tak Mohalla Shopian.
Reports said that soon after the incident, the whole area was cordoned off by security forces to nab the attackers to recover the cash.
JK Bank official also confirmed the incident and said that around 60 lakhs of rupees were looted on gun point in Shopian
Meanwhile, a senior police officer also confirmed the incident and said that manhunt has been launched to recover the cash and FIR under relevant sections of law has been registered.
