KULGAM — Unknown gunmen struck in southern district of Kulgam, killing two persons including a retired government employee.
Sources said that unknown gunmen fired upon two persons in Nadimarg Damhal Hanjipora of Kulgam district. Both persons died on spot, though they were shifted to hospital.
A police official identified the duo as Ghulam Hasan Wagay son of Abdul Wahab and Sirajuddin Gorsi son of Ali Muhammad. Ghulam Hasan, as per reports, was a retired Forest employee.
The area was cordoned off and search operation was underway till the filing of this report.
