‘Infiltrator’ killed along LoC in Kupwara

SRINAGAR — An unidentified ‘infiltrator’ was killed after an infiltration bid was foiled by security forces in Jabdi area on the Line of Control (LoC) of Tangdhar area in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday.

Official sources told the news agency GNS that security forces detected suspicious movement near Jabdi area of Tangdhar.

During the searches, an infiltrator was killed during the firefight, as per them. Meanwhile, the searches in the area are still underway when this report was being filed.
