Srinagar: In south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, 300 people are said to be trapped in a village Khoimo from last three days.
One of the relatives of trapped family studying in Bangalore informed that people are battling for their lives in this village due to uncontrolled upsurge of nearby water body.
“On the banks of river Vaisho, two localities of Khoimo: Thokerpora and Tengpora are critical right now,” the caller who identified himself as Iqbal said. “Nearly 300 people residing in these localities are battling for their lives. No help is pouring for them.”
