SRINAGAR — A driver has allegedly killed his wife on Wednesday in northern Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
An official quoted by the local news agency Kashmir Scroll that Amjid Ahmad, son of Abdul Rasheed Mughal and a resident of Shartpalla Tangdhar, killed his wife, namely Sobia Begum.

He said that the man, who is a driver by profession, killed his wife at own residence Shartpalla Tangdhar by strangulating her.
Meanwhile, the local police have arrested the accused while further investigation has been taken up.
