Militants attack Police, CRPF party in Awantipora

SRINAGAR — Militants on Monday fired upon a joint party of police and CRPF at a Naka in Malangpora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

A senior Police officer said that militants attacked a joint party at Malangpora area of Awantipora. The joint party retaliated, triggering off a brief exchange of gunfire.

Till this report was being filed, no loss of life or injury was being reported.
