GANDERBAL — A minor girl was killed in a road accident that took place at Mamer area of Kangan area in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Monday.
An official said that an accident took place at Mamer Kangan when a Grand i10 vehicle bearing registration number JK01AB/3657 hit a pedestrian identified as Khalida, 14, daughter of Angrez Ali of Thakery Pati Mamer Kangan, leaving her critically wounded.
He said she was immediately shifted to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Kangan wherefrom she was referred to SKIMS for further treatment.
He added that the girl succumbed to her injuries at SKIMS Soura.
A case in this regard has been registered and investigation taken up.
