SRINAGAR — Police have released a Muslim Conference activist who had been arrested from a northern Kashmir area, and subsequently booked under the Public Safety Act (PSA) after the abrogation of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir.
Official sources said that Jammu Kashmir Muslim Conference activist Sajad Ahmed, a resident of Naidkhai, Bandipora was released by authorities.
He was facing detention under the stringent Public Safety Act.
