NIT students protest colleague’s arrest

Srinagar, Mar 31: Protests broke out at NIT Hazratbal here on Saturday against the arrest of a senior student of the institute. Students said Police arrested the final year student, Parvaiz Ahmed, from his residence at Zaina Kadal in old city 10 days ago and he has not been released till date. “Parvaiz is innocent and is not involved in any subversive activity. He should be released immediately,” students said.
