SRINAGAR — The Indian Army on Sunday strongly refuted the news reports that a Territorial Army soldier was tested positive, stating that the news was factually incorrect as the fact was “samples of soldier were taken and results were negative.”

Defence spokesman in Srinagar, Colonel Rajesh Kalia said that no soldier has tested positive for COVID-19. “The news report circulating in a section of media is fake and baseless. The fact is soldier’s samples were taken and the report is negative,” he said.
