Non-local Biryani chef found dead in Anantnag

SRINAGAR — A non-local man was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Sherbagh area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday.

An official said that a non-local man identified as Imran Faridi of Uttar Pradesh, who was working as a Biryani chef in Anantnag, has been found dead at his rented accommodation in Sherbagh area in mysterious condition.

He said that police rushed to the spot and took the body into their custody for medico-legal formalities. “Further proceedings along with the investigation have been taken up,” he said.
