Palhallan youth booked under PSA

Srinagar, Dec 1: Authorities on Thursday booked a youth under Public Safety Act (PSA), sources said. They said that Police had registered six cases, including hosting a flag atop Ganta Ghar at Lal Chowk last year, against Nisar Ahmad Bhat of New Colony Palhallan. “He (Nisar) was absconding for past one year. On September 24 Army claimed to have arrested him and recovered a pistol, grenade and some ammunition from him. He was lodged in police station Pattan,” a local said.
