PDD employee shot at in Tral

TRAL — Unidentified gunmen shot at a Power Development Department (PDD) employee in Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Sources identified the PDD daily wager as Lateef Ahmad and said that he was shot in Amlar area of Tral. He was shifted to nearby hospital for treatment, they said.

A police officer while confirming the shooting incident said that a person was shot and his condition is stable as he was shot in leg.

“We have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation is going on,” he said. (KNO)
