Police arrests man for poaching migratory birds

PAMPORE — Police Station Pampore on Thursday arrested a man on the charges of poaching migratory birds.

A police official said that police received a complaint regarding poaching of migratory birds in Meej Pampore.

Upon this information, Police Station Pampore along with Wildlife authorities arrested one person, namely Ghulam Haider, resident of Balhama Panthachowk.

In this regard, case FIR number 94 of 2020 under Section 51 (Wildlife Protection Act) stands registered against the said person in Police Station Pampore.
