Police Constable held with brown sugar in Srinagar

SRINAGAR — Police arrested a Constable after brown sugar was recovered from his possession in Batamaloo area of Kashmir capital Srinagar.

Official sources said that a police party from Police Station Batamaloo intercepted a police driver, Constable Waseem Ahmed Dar (434/PL) and recovered 1.93 grams of brown sugar from his possession.

The accused is posted at District Police Lines Pulwama. Official sources added that an FIR vide number 23/2020 under relevant sections was registered in this connection.
