PULWAMA — Police on Saturday evening said that after the questioning of few suspects in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was recovered.
Jammu Kashmir Police said that they had received inputs that Jaish-e-Muhammad militants were planning to carry out IED attacks which shall be spectacular.
Police said that on the basis of which few suspects were questioned and, on their admission, an IED weighing 10 kilograms has been recovered in Barpora village of the district.
Police said that by recovering this IED, a major attack has been averted.
