Police recovers 14 cell-phones from inmates in Baramulla jail

Srinagar: A joint search was conducted by Baramulla Police and Jail authorities today in Sub Jail Baramulla on the basis of an information that some incriminating material including unauthorised cell-phones are being used inside the jail premises.

While conducting the search 14 cell-phones and incriminating material was recovered from the possession of the jail inmates.

An FIR has been registered and investigation is on as to how these articles which are not authorised as per jail manual have made entry into jail premises. (KNS)
