Programme on International Women’s Day held in Pulwama

PULWAMA — District Legal Services Authority today organized a programme at District Court Complex Pulwama on the eve of International Women’s Day.

The programme was organized under the Chairmanship of Mr. Mohammad Ibrahim Wani (Pr. District & Sessions Judge, Chairman DLSA) Pulwama in the District Court Complex Pulwama.

All the Judicial Officers were present on the occasion including Mr. Khursheed-Ul-Islam (Secretary, DLSA) Pulwama.

Large number of female Asha workers including female lawyers and PLVs also participated in the function.

Speaking on the occasion, Secretary DLSA Pulwama and other speakers highlighted the rights of the women as well as their duties.

Dr. Nuzhat from Health Department Pulwama also participated and made the audience aware about the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and its preventive measures among the participants.

At the conclusion of the programme, Chairman DLSA Pulwama stressed upon the participants to follow the ethics in light of Islamic teachings concerning women.
