Pulwama youth gets IARDO Young Fellow award in Bangkok

PULWAMA — Naveed Hamid, a youth from Pulwama has received IARDO Young Fellow award in Bangkok.

The award was presented by International Association of Research and Developed Organisation, India in association with KU Home Kasetsart University, Chatuchak, Bangkok, Thailand.

Naveed Hamid, a native of Prichoo village in Pulwama, received the IARDO Young Fellow Award 2019 during the International Award Conference on Research, Analyze, Communicate and Evaluate (RACE – 2019) held at KU, University Campus Bangkok, Thailand on 10th of February, 2019.

Naveed is working with Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, New Delhi and is engaged in research activities related to agribusiness and value chain.

He has been awarded for his significant research contribution in the field of agribusiness / value chain for enhancement of profitability for small and marginal farmers of J&K state.

It is pertinent to mention that he has more than 55 publications, several national and international awards to his credit, including full length research papers, books, book chapters, research articles, abstracts, et cetera.
