
SRINAGAR — Congress leader and Member of Parliament, Rahul Gandhi is likely to visit Srinagar on August 09 to attend some party activities, sources said here on Wednesday.
Sources said that Rahul would visit Srinagar on August 09 to attend some party activities on Monday.
They said that he will stay in Srinagar for a night and will likely attend some party activities on August 10 and will leave for Delhi on the same day.
Meanwhile, JKPCC chief GA Mir said that he is yet to get final programme details about Rahul Gandhi’s visit. “We had shared a four-day plan with him to visit the valley, however, due to hectic Parliament schedule, he might visit for a night and a day and will attend some party activities in Srinagar,” he said.
Mir said that due to Parliament session, he will have a short visit to the valley. However, after Parliament session, he will go for a detailed visit.
