Srinagar: In a late night decision, the authorities have decided to impose restrictions on movement of people in areas under five police stations in old Srinagar city and also in Maisuma area “to maintain law and order.”
“There will be adequate security measures in place tomorrow in Srinagar to ensure there is no law and order problem. Besides there will be restrictions in five police stations in old city and also in Maisuma,” Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Farooq Lone said, adding that the decision was taken in a late night security review meeting held at PCR Srinagar, Greater Kashmir reported.
The old city areas that will remain under curbs include Nowhatta, Khanyar, Safakadal, Rainawari and Maharajgunj.
Meanwhile, the DC visited the injured people of Pulwama firing at SMHS Hospital and directed the doctors to ensure proper treatment to all 14 injured.
