Scuffle between brothers leaves one dead in Pampore

PAMPORE — Scuffle between two brothers resulted in the death of one in Pampore area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district this evening.

Police sources said that there was a scuffle between two brothers in which 19-year-old youth identified as Burhan Aziz sustained serious injuries who later died in the hospital.

Another brother believed to be the assailant has been arrested. Police sources identified him as Abid Aziz son of Abdul Aziz, resident of Konibal Pampore.

A police official confirmed the incident, saying that Burhan died at SMHS Hospital. However, the cause of the scuffle is being ascertained.
