Student allegedly hangs self in Pulwama village

PULWAMA — A student allegedly committed suicide in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday.

Sources said that a 21-year-old youth was found dead in his native Renzipora village of Pulwama district.

Local sources said that the student identified as Wasim Ahmed ended his life by hanging himself. The reason behind the incident was not known immediately.

A police official while confirming the incident said that they have taken cognizance and registered a case in this regard.

Meanwhile, after completion of all formalities, the body was handed over to the family.
