Teacher dies of cardiac arrest in Ajas Bandipora

BANDIPORA — A private school teacher died of a sudden cardiac arrest on Monday morning in Ajas area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

Reports reaching here said that a teacher identified as Mohammad Ramzan Rather son of late Aarif Rather, resident of Sheikh Mohalla Ajas, suffered a massive cardiac arrest on Monday early morning at his home in Ajas.

He was immediately rushed to CHC Sumbal where doctors on duty declared him dead on arrival.

A doctor at CHC Sumbal also confirmed that the teacher was brought dead.

Meanwhile, the deaths due to sudden cardiac arrest have reached 12 in the past seven days in Kashmir Valley.
