Teenage boy stabbed in late-night attack in central Kashmir

SRINAGAR — A teenage boy was injured after being stabbed in the Maloora area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district late Sunday night.

According to reports from a Srinagar-based news agency, the incident occurred when the teenage boy, identified as Farhan Rafiq, son of Rafiq Wagay and a resident of Maloora, was attacked with a sharp-edged weapon.

Rafiq sustained injuries to his head and was subsequently rushed to JVC Hospital Bemina for medical treatment.

Meanwhile, police have initiated an investigation into the matter. No further details were immediately available.
