Teenager attacked with sharp-edged object in Nowgam

SRINAGAR — A teenage boy was injured in an attack by unknown persons in Nowgam area here on Friday.

Officials said that at about 9 PM, unknown persons attacked Sami Fayaz (18) son of Fayaz Ahmed of Gangipora Nowgam at Pehroo with some sharp-edged object.

Sami suffered injuries in the attack and was taken by locals, who spotted him in the area, to SMHS hospital for treatment.

A police officer said that the attack is being investigated.
