BUDGAM — A 17-year-old boy ended his life by allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substances at his home in Drung village of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday.
An official said that the youth identified as Shabir Ahmad Pala son of Gulzar Ahmad Palla, resident of Drung village here consumed some poisonous substance at his home. “He was immediately rushed to PHC Khag Hospital, where from doctors referred him to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for further treatment, however he was declared dead on arrival at SMHS Hospital,” he said.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case under various sections of law and taken up further investigations in this regard, the official added.
