PULWAMA — Forest Protection Force captured three horses laden with illicit timber in Romshi Forest Range of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Official sources said that during the intervening night of May 3 and 4, Forest Protection Party from Unit Headquarter Shirmal and Gulabteng laid a Naka at three different places after receiving information about the movement of jungle smugglers.
During the operation, three horses laden with 35 illicit Fir timber measuring to the tune of 64.36 Cft were seized at Kralacheck Shadimarg road, in Romshi Range.
The horses and the timber were seized and a case was registered under relevant sections of Forest Act in this regard.
