
SOPORE — Three persons including a trooper sustained minor injuries after militants lobbed a grenade at a security bunker in north Kashmir’s Sopore town today.
Police sources said that militants tossed a grenade towards a CRPF bunker that missed the target and exploded on the road.
They said three persons including a trooper sustained minor injuries who all were discharged after receiving first aid from a hospital.
The injured were identified as Abdul Rashid Dar of Watlub Sopore, Ghulam Muhammad Lone of Baghi-e-Sana Sopore and Head Constable CRPF Kartik Kumar.
Searches were conducted after the attack, however, no arrests were made.
