Three Srinagar youth drowned in Nallah Sindh

KANGAN — Three youth from Srinagar who were taking bath in Nallah Sindh in Kangan area drowned this late afternoon, however, one was rescued while another two are still missing.

Sources said that three youth from Noorbagh area of Srinagar had gone to picnic and were bathing in Nallah Sindh near Kij Park Kangan.

They said that gushing waters pushed the youth from bank of nallah into the middle.

Locals present there jumped into the nallah and saved one among them while the search for other missing youth is underway.

The missing youth who are feared dead have been identified as Zahid Umar and Faisal Ahmad-both residents of Noorbagh Palpora Srinagar.
