
SRINAGAR — A woman from central Kashmir’s Srinagar district allegedly committed suicide after failing to clear Public Service Commission (PSC) exam.
Reliable sources said that a 26-year-old woman from Nowhatta area of the district ended her life at her residence.
They said that she was found unconscious at her residence, following which she was rushed to JLNM Hospital Rainawari where doctors declared her dead.
They added the woman was upset since she failed to clear the Public Service Commission exam and that is the reason behind her taking this harsh step.
Meanwhile, police have already taken cognizance of the unfortunate incident and started an investigation in this connection.
