Tral Attack: Toll two as another injured soldier succumbs

Srinagar: An Army man who was critically injured in militant attack on government forces in Nader Panzoo area of Pulwama district has succumbed.

The death toll in the attack has reached two as one Army man died on Thursday night.

A police official on Thursday said that the militants fired at the soldiers manning 42 RR Army camp in Nader area of Tral leaving a soldier dead and another wounded.

The injured soldier was shifted to 92 base Army hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries today.

Srinagar based Defense Spokesperson Colonel Rajesh Kalia confirmed the death of the soldier saying that he succumbed at 92 Base Army hospital Srinagar. (CNS)
