Two militants killed in brief shootout in Srinagar

SRINAGAR — Two militants were killed in a brief shootout in Rawalpora Rangreth area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Monday.

Official sources told news agency GNS that on a very specific input, militants were intercepted and subsequently killed in a brief shootout.

The identity and affiliation of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained, the officer added.

As per the sources, one among the slain militant is believed to be a foreigner.
