
Srinagar: Two militants were killed and three Army men injured after a gunfight broke out between militants and government forces in Chattergam area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday early morning.
Reports said that two militants and three Army men were injured after a joint team of Army’s 50RR, CRPF and SOG cordoned off Chattergam.
A senior Police official confirmed that two militants were killed and three Army men injured after having credible input about presence of some militants in the area.
However, officer said that the identity of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained. (GNS)
