Two teachers suspended for dereliction of duties in Pulwama

PULWAMA — District Magistrate Pulwama, Dr Raghav Langer on Friday ordered suspension of two government teachers for non-compliance of directions under Section 34 and 65 of Disaster Management Act, 2005.

On the directions of District Magistrate, Dr Raghav Langer, Additional Deputy Commissioner/ADM Pulwama suspended two government teachers for not obeying directions under Section 34 & 65 of Disaster Management Act, 2005.

Officials said that Mohammad Azad Koka, teacher at PS Kulpora and Ghulam Hassan Dar, teacher at HS Dogripora, who are also members of cluster-wise Health Surveillance Team Panzgam have been placed under suspension with immediate effect and shall remain attached with the office of Tehsildar/Executive Magistrate 1st class Awantipora till further orders.

ADM Pulwama further instructed Tehsildar Awantipora to file charge-sheets against the officials and conduct full-fledged enquiry to locate the circumstances underlying such non-compliance and dereliction of duties and furnish the conclusions with specific recommendations for disciplinary action under service rules / lodging of FIR under Section 51(b) read with Section 188 IPC.
