Srinagar: United Jihad Council (UJC) on Saturday said that the gunmen who appeared at slain militant, Naseer Pandit’s grave in Kareemabad village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district doesn’t belong to any militant outfit and warned them of dire consequences in case they continue with such activities.
In an e-mailed statement to KNS, the UJC spokesman, Syed Sadaqat Hussain said, “The gunmen who pretend themselves as militants doesn’t belong to any militant outfit and have been identified.”
“The statement made by the group against Pakistani nation and flag and support and praising Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) reflects their intentions. It also reflects whose agenda they are carrying forward,” the UJC spokesman added.
He said, “The group tried to create confusion among the militants and the people. We warn them of dire consequences in case they won’t stop carrying out such activities.”
Sadaqat said, “TTP has been and is being used by enemies of Islam. They are involved in the killings of thousands of innocents.”
He said that the people of Kashmir have been sacrificing their lives from past several decades. “The people of Kashmir and militants are united this time thereby such policies are being adopted to create confusion between them to break their unity,” UJC spokesman added. (KNS)
