
PULWAMA — Unknown persons have cut down high density apple trees in the orchard of a farmer in Panzgam village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The victim Abdul Rashid Dar son of Abdul Subhan Dar, a resident of Panzgam said over phone that he found at least eight apple trees lying on ground when he visited his orchard on Monday afternoon.
“I am upset and want the police to expose the culprits responsible for this act. I will lodge a complaint at police post Panzgam and hope police will trace the culprits,” he said.
