In wake of the order, Chief Engineer Power Development Department (PDD), Aijaz Ahmad Khan said that they will also provide adequate and round-the-clock electricity to the people in case they use it judiciously.
“We are already supplying 1400 MW electricity to the people after the commissioning of Alesteng grid station,” he said, adding that the people yesterday had resorted to overload when it was raining.
“Let people cooperate, we will also provide adequate electricity during the lockdown period,” he said.
