Woman dies after falling off motorcycle in Pulwama

PULWAMA — A woman died after falling off a moving motorcycle in southern Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday.

Eyewitnesses, quoted by the news agency KNT, said that Rafiya Nazir, a resident of Talangam village, sustained critical injuries after falling off a bike.

The pillion rider, Rafiya was rushed to District Hospital Pulwama for treatment, but due to the severity of her injuries, she was shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for advanced care. Unfortunately, she couldn’t recover from her injuries.

The police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case under relevant sections of law.
