State Power Development Department has job vacancies

State Power Development Coorporation Limited, also known as State Power Development Department, invites job applications on prescribed forms from the permanent residents of J&K State for appointment against the following posts. The application forms, duly filled-in, should reach the Corporate Office at Srinagar or Jammu within 10 days after the publication of this notification.

Name of Post: Assistant General Manager (Contracts)

Pay Band: Rs. 9300-34800; GP Rs. 5,200/-

Minimum Qualification: Full time LLM from a recognized University with specialization in corporate/commercial laws, with two years practice at BAR.

Name of Post: Assistant General Manager (Arbitration)

No. of Posts: 1; OM = 1

Pay Band: Rs. 9300-34800; GP Rs. 5,200/-

Minimum Qualification: Full time LLM from a recognized University with experience of handling arbitration matters & two years practice at BAR.

Name of Post: Assistant General Manager (Litigation)

No. of Posts: 1; OM=1

Pay Band: Rs. 9300-34800; GP Rs. 5,200/-

Minimum Qualification: Full time LLM from a recognized University with one year practice at BAR.

Name of Post: Assistant Managers (Legal)

No. of Posts: 3; OM = 1; SC=1; RBA=1

Pay Band: Rs. 9300-34800; GP Rs. 4,200/-

Minimum Qualification: Full time LLB from a recognized University with one year practice at BAR.

Age as on 01.01.2017:

(a) Minimum Age: 18 years.

(b) Maximum Age as under:
1. General category: 40 years
2. Physically Handicapped: 42 years
3. Members of SC/ST/RBA/ALC/OSC: 43 years
4. Candidates already in Government Services/PSUs: 40 years
5. Ex-Servicemen: 48 years

How to Apply: Application forms can be downloaded from JKSPDCL corporate website (www.jkspdc.nic.in) under the ”Appointments and Postings” section. Application forms are also available from JKSPDCL Corporate Office, Exhibition Road, Srinagar and at Camp office Ashok Nagar, Satwari, Jammu on working days from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM against a payment of Rs. 200 in the shape of a DD drawn in favour of ’General Manager (Accounts), Corporate Office and payable at Srinagar/Jammu.

In case of forms downloaded from the website, the cost of form in the shape of DD shall be enclosed at the time of submission of forms in the manner specified above.

JKSPDCL shall not be responsible for any postal delays or loss of applications. Attested photocopies of Certificates have to be attached with the application form. A photograph is also to be affixed on the application form.

Attested photocopies of the following Certificates are to be attached with the application form (not scanned ones):

i. Date of Birth Certificate;

ii. Permanent Resident Certificate;

iii. Valid Category Certificate, if any.

iv. Marks Certificates of prescribed qualification.

v. Experience Certificate in proof of practice at BAR.
