Srinagar: The Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) while confirming the resignation of two ministers, Chowdary Lal Singh and Chander Prakash Ganga, said that the party legislature meeting will decide the fate of both the ministers tomorrow.
“State party president has received the resignation of both the ministers. Now the party legislators are meeting tomorrow to decide the fate of both the ministers,” BJP’s State General Secretary Ashok Koul said over phone.
According to sources from the Party, the resignation of the two ministers is likely to be accepted by the Party.
The resignation comes in the backdrop of outrage over their participation in a rally organised by Hindu Ekta Manch to support accused in Asifa’s rape & murder.
Meanwhile, sources said that on the directions of BJP high command, National General Secretary Ram Madhav is visiting Jammu tomorrow. “Madhav would chair the party meeting in Jammu tomorrow,” sources said. (KNS)
