Srinagar, Feb 26: Huriyat Conference (G) Monday distanced itself from the unity move amongst various separatist groups, saying the party was part of Mutahida Majlis-e-Mashawrat (MMM), the newly formed joint body of different separatists groups, seeking the return of body of parliament attack convict Muhammad Afzal Guru.
Acting Hurriyat (G) Spokesperson Dr Ghulam Muhammad Ganaie said that Huriyat (G) did not participate in Monday’s meeting and nor was it taken on board by the organisers. “Nobody called us”, he said.
