Hurriyat (G) calls on people to resume business

Srinagar, Feb 22: Hurriyat Conference (G) has appealed the people to resume their day today business from Saturday up to Monday. However, it has appealed for evening protests on Saturday, Sunday and asked the people to write slogans on walls favoring the return of Afzal’s body and use Facebook for the aim as well.
“There will be no Hartal on February 23, 24 and 25. People are, however, appealed to hold Qurankhani and special prayers on the evening of Saturday and Sunday and raise pro-freedom slogans after the Nimaz-e-Magrib,” Tehreek-e-Hurriyat care taking chairman, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai said, quoting Syed Ali Geelani who is under house arrest in Delhi.
Sehrai said that Geelani has also appealed the people to write slogans favoring the return of the body of Afzal on walls and also use Facebook and other social websites.
Sehrai added that they have no direct communication with Geelani but somehow they managed to contact him indirectly because Delhi police has snatched the cell phones of Geelani.
