SRINAGAR — The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly will convene on Monday (November 4) at 10:30 am for a crucial session that includes the election of the Assembly Speaker.
Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Cooperatives, and Election, Javid Ahmed Dar, will move a motion proposing Advocate Abdul Rahim Rather as the Speaker candidate.

According to the news agency NVI, this motion will be seconded by Member Arjun Singh Raju.
The session will also feature an address by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, scheduled for 11:30 am.
