SRINAGAR — All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) said that some mischief makers and agencies with vested interests are planting fake stories in some Jammu-based newspapers about incarcerated APHC chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq meeting with a former Deputy Mayor of Srinagar and joining so called “mainstream politics”.

APHC in a statement said that these deliberate and malicious falsehoods peddled by vested interests are strongly denounced and rubbished. It urged people to be vigilant and alert of this “spiteful propaganda and lies being peddled by vile and unscrupulous elements.”
