NEW DELHI — Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Friday that there was no power on earth that could bring back Article 370. “I have buried it in the grave forever,” he said.

According to the news agency ANB, Modi criticised the Congress-NC alliance after a resolution opposing the revocation of Article 370 and restoring Jammu and Kashmir’s special status was passed in the first session of the newly elected Assembly by a voice vote. Modi called it a “conspiracy against Kashmir.”

The resolution, passed on Wednesday, was supported by all parties except the BJP. Modi also mentioned that BJP MLAs were removed from the Assembly after protesting against banners supporting Article 370.
